Buzz Makers

Buzz Makers to honor Brown County Residents who have made a significant impact in their profession and on the Brown County community.


Eligibility Criteria

  1. Professional Achievement: Demonstrated excellence and leadership in their professional field.
  2. Community Impact: Evidence of meaningful contributions to the community, whether through volunteer work, philanthropy, or other civic activities.
  3. Residency Requirements: Nominees must live in Brown County.

Anyone can nominate a candidate, including colleagues, supervisors, or community members.

Expectations for Honorees

  1. Media and Publicity:
    • Honorees may be featured in publications or media outlets as part of the program’s promotion.
    • Be prepared for interviews or public appearances to share insights and experiences.
  2. Ambassadorship:
    • Act as an ambassador for excellence and inspire others in the community.
    • Continue to uphold high standards and contribute positively to the community.

Nominations are open now through July 31 at browncountyil.org/buzz-makers. The first group of Buzz Makers will be announced during Homecoming Week.
