Kick off Winter Festival with one of the brightest traditions of the season — the Christmas Light Parade through Uptown Mt. Sterling!
Beginning at 5:30 PM on Friday, December 4, the parade will fill the streets with glowing floats, Christmas lights, festive music, and plenty of holiday cheer.
Bundle up, grab a spot along the route, and enjoy watching local businesses, organizations, groups, and families light up the night.
Light Up the Night
From classic Christmas themes to colorful, creative displays, parade entries are encouraged to have fun and make their floats shine.
Whether you’re participating in the parade or watching from the sidewalk, it’s a festive way to gather with friends and neighbors and celebrate the start of the Christmas season in Brown County.
NEW THIS YEAR! Parade participants will have the opportunity to compete for a Best of Show Award, which includes a $250 donation to the nonprofit organization of the winner’s choice. Whether you’re representing a business, organization, school, or community group, we encourage you to get creative, have fun, and showcase your holiday spirit. Gather your team, think big, and bring your best parade entry for a chance to earn bragging rights and support a great cause!
